Nikayla is a Filipino, Papua New Guinean, El Salvadoran actor, writer, and filmmaker.
Originally from Cairns, Queensland, and based in Sydney, Nikayla has always had a passion for the arts. She began acting from a young age and has loved gaining more theatre experience at Sydney Actors School, most notably in ‘The 39 Steps’ (dir. Claudia Barrie) and ‘Separate Tables’ (dir. Shane Anthony and Janine Watson). During her training she has further developed her acting and filmmaking skills, and has also found a love for cinematography. Nikayla is a passionate artist and is excited to use her skills to create more stories for everyone to enjoy.
