Demi-Lea, originally from Bowral, loves a good cuppa and gingerbread man.
She knew she wanted to be in and make films when she saw ‘Requiem For a Dream’ and ‘Fight Club’ at the age of 13. Demi-Lea is an actress/filmmaker who has just written, starred in and edited her first short film ‘The Invincibles’, the story of three young best friends whose drug and alcohol addictions tear them apart. Demi-Lea is also currently working on her next project ‘I Am Monster’, another short film she has written, that will be shot later this year. Demi-Lea has an ambition to create and be a part of films that explore strong, universal issues – to tell the stories that need to be told.
“Film is incredibly democratic and accessible, it’s probably the best option if you actually want to change the world, not just re-decorate it.” – Banksy.
